HOW EVERYTHING BEGAN

At the age of 17 Boris started swimming and training seriously. The former football and chess player was apparently appealed by this endurance sport. Half a year later, now 18-year-old Boris competed in his first triathlon in Gösselsdorf. The satisfying result caused him to compete in different triathlon and duathlon events in summer 2005. His motivation and enthusiasm for this sport grew and grew. With better equipment better results followed and Boris became one of the most promising young talents in Carinthia. It didn't take long for him to find a suitable club to join. Now he is a proud member of the RTM ASVÖ ÖAMTC LZ Klagenfurt. Fortunately, serious injuries failed to appear and Boris trained more and more and his endurance continued to increase steadily. By now Boris is 22 years old and about to join the Carinthian high performance squad. In late October 2009, Boris moved clubs and joined the Kelag Energy Running Team.
