| On february 16th, I'm flying to Lanzarote! Another training camp has been set and fortunately I'm feeling well enough to enjoy an intense training week outside my home country. Now studying in Graz, I'm really looking forward to this upcoming event with some friends of mine, all top triathletes of Carinthia! |

This winter I started to perform this quite extraordinary sport and I must say that I'm really enjoying it.
I still have some problems getting down the hills unharmed though ;)! |

| Time to get started | 14.01.2008 |
After having a few weeks of reduced training (injury/headaches, stuff to do at university and a few motivation problems) I'm looking forward to do some real intense training during the rest of January.
I'll spend two weeks at Lanzarote in the second half of February and I really want to get in a good shape until then.

| Medal for extraordinary achievements | 31.12.2007 |
On December 28th, the community of my home town Maria Saal awarded me with a gold medal for extraordinary achievements in the field of sports. Being honoured with such a special award is a dream come true. This moment encourages me to keep on training and keep on dreaming of one day becoming one of Austrias top triathletes.

Am Freitag den 28.12.2007 bekam ich von der Marktgemeinde Maria Saal das Ehrenzeichen für sportliche Verdienste in Gold verliehen. Eine solche Auszeichnung zu erhalten lässt einen Traum für mich wahr werden. Dieser Moment ermutigt mich, weiter zu trainieren und davon zu träumen, einer der besten Triathleten Österreichs zu werden.

| Injured! | 27.12.2007 |
| On december 26th, Boris and two of his triathlon fellows, Christoph Lorber and Thomas Jandl, were on a training session and went snowboarding to the Turrach afterwards. Unfortunately Boris injured himself and had to stay in hospital for one day. Now he is recovering at home and enjoying an unexpected training-free week. Best wishes and a speedy recovery. |
